ABSTRACT
The first fundamental change to service charge legislation introduced by the 2002 Act is to extend the meaning of ‘service charge’ itself. The alteration is effected by section 150 which amends the definition within section 18 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 (the cornerstone of residential service charge law).
