( HTFigure 1TH). ● Type A (25-35%) occurs distal to the left subclavian artery. The innominate, left
carotid, and left subclavian arteries all originate from the ascending aorta. The descending aorta is supplied with blood from the PDA (HTFigure 1aTH).
