ABSTRACT

This chapter is concerned only with circumstances which can arise in connection with an existing electric line. 1 The hypothetical legal and factual context in which we have to consider the issues raised by this chapter is this: a wayleave has come to an end by one or other of the ways previously discussed; a valid notice to remove was duly served by the grantor upon the licence-holder. This chapter is concerned with the question: when must the licence-holder comply with the notice to remove?
