ABSTRACT
The final point to note is that there is provision in s 67 of the 1954 Act dealing with the situation where the landlord has taken out a mortgage and the mortgagee has taken possession or appointed a receiver. In such a situation, the mortgagee in possession or the receiver will be the landlord (see Meah v Mouskos [1963] 3 All ER 908, CA).
