ABSTRACT

Section 56 of the 1954 Act deals with the application of the 1954 Act to the Crown. Where the Crown is the landlord, the 1954 Act rights granted to the tenant may be modified under s 57 of the 1954 Act, and there are special rights to terminate such tenancies in s 58 of the 1954 Act. There are also special provisions dealing with property in development and intermediate areas (s 60 of the 1954 Act), and premises leased by the Welsh Development Agency (s 60A of the 1954 Act).
