ABSTRACT

Section 25(1) provides that the s 25 notice must be in the prescribed form. There are two prescribed forms: Forms 1 and 2 in Sched 2 to the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, Part 2 (Notices) Regulations 2004 (SI 2004/1005) (see Appendix 16). Form 1 should be used where the landlord is not opposed to the grant of a new tenancy, whilst Form 2 should be used where the landlord is opposed to the grant of a new tenancy.
