ABSTRACT

An employee has a legal right to be free from certain kinds of discrimination at work. It is misleading to say that an employee has an unqualified (that is, complete and unconditional) right to be free from discrimination, so we are very careful with our use of words. An employee is protected against discrimination on the grounds of: ❍ race or ethnic origin; ❍ sex or transsexualism; ❍ disability.
