You have a legal right to be free from certain kinds of discrimination at work. It is misleading to say that you have an unqualified (that is, complete and unconditional) right to be free from discrimination, so we are very careful with our use of words. However, if your employer is a public body you are also entitled to enjoy all the rights and freedoms guaranteed by the European Convention on Human Rights without discrimination on any grounds.
