ABSTRACT

A third party debt order is a court order for the debtor’s money in a bank or building society account to be paid direct to you to pay a judgment debt. You can also get a third party debt order over money that is owed by someone else to the debtor. So, if you know for a fact that Mr X owes your debtor money, you can get the court to order Mr X to pay you the amount of the judgment debt before handing anything over to the debtor.
