ABSTRACT
An enduring power of attorney (which we will refer to from now on as an EPA) is just one of several types of power of attorney. Any power of attorney is an authority granted by deed to act on behalf of someone else in respect of their property and financial affairs. The person who gives that power is called variously the donor, grantor or principal, and the person who is given the power is called the attorney or donee.
