The ‘nitty gritty’—filling in the claim form

The first thing to do is to fill in a claim form, Form N1 (you can find a copy on the companion website).

You can find a worked example on p 86 where Mr Lucky is claiming for compensation for his ruined holiday, but here is one that the greetings card manufacturers call ‘blank for your own message’. You can find a similar blank claim form on the court website: www.courtservice.gov.uk.
