The schedule should be served by the landlord’s lawyer wherever possible. The point at which the schedule is issued by the surveyor to the lawyer should be the point that a second opinion is sought by the surveyor in terms of the interpretation of relevant lease clauses and the inclusion of all lease and licence obligations.
