ABSTRACT
This chapter aims to give a brief overview and flavour of the five methods used to value property and outlines how valuation calculations are presented. It explores which methods are used to value different types of property and how methods may be used together to help formulate an opinion of a property's value. Later chapters will examine each of the methods in more detail.
