ABSTRACT
This section includes the major Commonwealth declarations and principles as agreed to by Commonwealth Heads of Government. The first major declaration-which remains the statement of core beliefs-is the Declaration of Commonwealth Principles, issued by Commonwealth Heads of Government at their meeting in Singapore in 1971.
