ABSTRACT
This chapter divides into two halves. The first half deals specifically with the appointment and removal of the persons who occupy the office of trustee. The second half deals more broadly with the manner in which private trusts are managed and controlled. In particular this second section examines the general duties of care imposed on trustees and their obligations towards beneficiaries.
