ABSTRACT
Corbett v Corbett (1971) X and Y had participated in a marriage ceremony in 1963. In 1960, Y, born a male, had undergone so called sex-change surgery after which he had lived as a woman and had married X. During subsequent proceedings related to a decree of nullity of marriage, the court considered the problem of Y’s sex.
