ABSTRACT

Don’t forget that in many commercial sales, the seller allows the buyer a period of credit so that the buyer obtains possession of the goods before he has to pay for them. However, unless the seller inserts an effective clause in the contract of sale, reserving property in the goods until the price is paid, the property will usually pass to the buyer on delivery of the goods at the latest. Therefore, the action in such cases will be for the price of the goods.
