ABSTRACT
Mr Giuseppe Baggetta, the applicant, was arrested on 27 November 1971. After investigation, he was released on 28 January 1972. He was committed for trial on 9 January 1973 on charges of possession of dangerous weapons, criminal damage and arson. Following hearings and appeals the final decision was given by the Court of Cassation on 19 December 1986. That judgment was filed with the registry on 17 February 1987. The applicant complained, inter alia, about the length of the proceedings. Comm found unanimously V 6(1).
