ABSTRACT
From the county court, appeals are heard by the Civil Division of the Court of Appeal and permission is required. From the High Court divisions and the Divisional Courts, appeals go to the Civil Division of the Court of Appeal on questions of law, fact or both and require four weeks’ notice. From the Court of Appeal, appeals go to the House of Lords on points of law of public importance, with the permission of either court.
