Council Regulation 259/93 on the supervision and control of shipments of waste within, into and out of the European Community (see p 398) takes account, inter alia,30 of the Community’s Decision (93/98) to become Party to the Convention on the Control of Trans-boundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal – the Basel Convention 1989 (see p 352, above).
