ABSTRACT
Where a person has a cause of action against the defendant but dies before it has been resolved the defendant may still be liable to the estate of the deceased under the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1934, or to the dependants of the deceased under the Fatal Accidents Act 1976.
