ABSTRACT
The purpose of this chapter is to make provision for tables giving details of the main criminal offences which are associated with the town and country planning legislation. Numerous offences have been created, some involving a possible penalty of imprisonment, though the majority are punishable only by imposition of a fine. In many cases, the offence is triable either way and can lead to imposition of an unlimited fine if conviction is obtained in the Crown Court.
