ABSTRACT
The aims of this chapter are to describe and analyse the system of human rights protection afforded by the European Convention on Human Rights in the context of recent institutional changes. From this examination, it is hoped that conclusions may be drawn as to whether the Convention is sufficiently equipped to deal with applications which are increasing in number and intricacy.
