ABSTRACT

The previous chapter looked at the institutional environment. Not only did it look at the centralized and distributed approaches to the factors but also at the people and equipment that are involved. The institutional environment is in the context of the organization of which it is a part, whether that is a university within a state system, a training organization in a manufacturing industry or a school in a district or as part of a community of international schools associated with a validating body. It is the psychosocial factors in the support environment that determine the success of learning by acceptance of learning by its users.
