Lyons v May & Baker (1923) The buyer of goods who had paid the price decided to reject them. He wished to retain the goods in order to have a lien for the return of the price.
Held The definition of ‘seller’ in s 38(2) of the SGA does not extend to the buyer. Thus, the buyer could not claim a lien against a refund from the seller.
