ABSTRACT
An Act of Parliament may of course be amended by any other Act of Parliament. The amending Act will not necessarily have the same sort of short title as the Act which it amends. For example, an Act of Parliament dealing with hotels may alter the Act of Parliament dealing with local government so as to permit local government authorities to conduct community hotels.
