Partner A will be concerned to know that partner B and his group are progressing the case for his key client. He will not simply be able to assume that all is well. Client managers do not make that assumption. Therefore, on completing the client transfer agreement, he will specify that he wants to receive a progress report from partner B at specified intervals, say, weekly or monthly, depending on the client and the case in question. He will not just leave it until he hears a complaint from his dissatisfied key client.
