ABSTRACT
In daily life few of us, perhaps, give any great thought to the way in which we use words. The rapidity with which we formulate and communicate ideas through speech precludes any careful weighing of words in most situations. Even when writing, the extent to which we consider our choice of words is likely to be limited.
