ABSTRACT

Student tutoring provides rewarding experience though which students can practise and acquire these skills by working with young people. The benefits of tutoring scheme provides statistically relevant findings that student tutoring increases the degree to which pupils try in science and increases the profile of 'college' as an activity. To summarize, students, feel that the lessons are more interesting, enjoyable and easier to follow. With support from International Mentoring and Tutoring Project the number of countries running student tutoring schemes continues to rise. Assessment is not a necessary requirement of student specific modules in tutoring, but every year has an increase in the number of schemes. These skills are variously described by the following organizations as: Training in these skills can be considered as valuable 'management experience' and may be assessed as part of a management in vocational courses such as engineering and accountancy.
