ABSTRACT

This chapter proposes the development of a modular unit that could be universally applicable to undergraduate modular programmes in Higher Educaton (HE). a modular unit, A 'wrap-around', planning, profiling and review framework, includes Planning phase, Monitoring and skills development phase, Core skills development, Synoptic review or appraisal phase portfolio is essentially descriptive and the critical review evaluative, Functions of the framework, also enhance coherence and progression within a modular scheme, Resource-based/open learning resource-based learning often include the important learning process issues in open learning of learner-managed learning has been developed for the modular masters programme. Modularization and semesterization have already required staff to reconsider the syllabus and essential subject coverage given concerns about overall validity and professional requirements.
