ABSTRACT
Organization of political independents formed to support the candidature of Alberto Keinya Fujimori in the 1990 Peruvian presidential elections. Entered into coalition with Nueva Mayoría to contest the 1992 elections to the constituent assembly. Supported the candidature of Fujimori for re-election in 1995 and again in 2000, when he was generally considered to be constitutionally debarred from running. Contested the 2001 congressional elections under new leadership.
