ABSTRACT
An important part of the arguments and the data of this chapter come from a collective work on metropolitan Barcelona, recently published, by the Department of Planning of the Association of Municipalities, entitled “Metropolitan dynamics in the area and region of Barcelona” in which the author worked for the past two years.
