ABSTRACT
This chapter has strong links with Chapters 7 and 5. Chapter 7 explored the various types of responsibility students may adopt in the assessment process. In Chapter 5, we looked at possible kinds of student involvement in the generation and negotiation of assessment criteria. In this chapter, we consider the role students might play in assessing their own learning.
