Cheating, fairness and bias

In this chapter, we deal with two ethical aspects of assessment - cheating and fairness. The former relates to student behaviour and the latter to the behaviour of tutors. For both areas, we define the issues and suggest how you might respond. Most of our examples are drawn from higher education, but the general points made also apply to other areas of education and training.
