ABSTRACT

Often we’re at a loss to know what manhood is all about, so we grope for answers wherever we suppose we can find them-in myths, in holy writ, in rude jokes, on toilet stalls. Many tales have been told to inspire us to manhood, to reveal its true nature, to allay our doubts about its existence, to help us remember where we lost it, to help us remember next time to put it back where it belongs. Many yarns have been spun about exemplars of manhood, heroic and stoic, cocksure and strong. Understandably, such gonzo bombast may underwhelm. Regrettably, not all such educative epics may be to your taste. So here’s one that’s certifiably tongue-in-cheek.
