ABSTRACT
This case study describes an institutional approach to educational and staff development which can create the conditions in which a commitment to capability can flourish. Based at Nottingham Trent University, a feature worth noting is that staff development is not seen solely in terms of academic staff – other members of the University’s staff are openly acknowledged as having an impact on student development.
