As with the course profile, the sub-profile can be defined as a block diagram, However, the sub-profile goes one step further and outlines for the writer(s) or the developers of the learning materials the various topic headings that have to be covered to ensure the learner reaches his or her appropriate level of learning.
This chapter will outline a typical methodology for the development of a sub-profile.
