ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses two of the common assumptions made about the way that learning materials can be delivered. These are; there is only one type of instructional strategy, and one kind of support or instructional material. Also discussed are the three basic types of instructional strategies, along with their advantages and disadvantages. Finally, the chapter describes a methodology to help you select the most appropriate type of instructional materials.
