ABSTRACT
It is six o’clock on a freezing February morning. The news reporter has just arrived for work and is perusing the morning papers over a coffee. The ‘phone rings and it’s an alert member of the public saying a train has been derailed. Many passengers have been injured and the disaster area is swarming with police, fire and ambulance crews. It’s all systems go…the start of another busy media day.
