ABSTRACT

The traditional perspective of a law degree taught at the University of Exeter has changed over the last few years because of the integration of core skills into the curriculum. Following a major review of educational practice during 1994, the Department of Law redesigned some of the courses that had previously been taught through traditional lectures and tutorials and began to rely on a variety of different educational methods. The purpose of this was to enhance students' ability to learn and understand the techniques and skills necessary for a foundational study of the law.
