ABSTRACT
A 64-year-old woman with symptomatic epilepsy caused by perinatal brain damage was admitted to hospital because of progressive deterioration of her general health over the preceding 2 weeks, intermittent clouding of consciousness, dizziness and nausea. Parkinsonism had been diagnosed recently on the basis of tremor and motor slowing. Current complaints were constant whole body tremor and a mostly frontal headache.
