ABSTRACT
Phenytoin was withdrawn and the lamotrigine dose was increased to 800 mg/day in two divided doses. This regimen produced a modest reduction in the frequency and severity of seizures. The cautious addition of low-dose topiramate led to a marked improvement in alertness and behaviour.
