ABSTRACT
Atheromatous narrowing of the coronary arteries is a frequent patho-
logical finding in the developed world. Stenosis and/or occlusion of a
coronary artery leads to ischaemia and/or infarction of myocardial
tissue with characteristic ECG changes.
