ABSTRACT
There is no substitute for being sequestered, as I was, in a rehearsal studio while masters like Anthony Tudor, Martha Graham, or José Limón coached and unveiled the details, secrets, and stories behind their choreography. To have them alter existing movement to suit my temperament and physicality was a dream come true! These were unforgettable moments when my destiny, as a link between the masters and the next generation, manifested itself.
