Gas liquid mixing and mass transfer in the water processing and

The aim of this paper is to briefly review, compare and contrast some of the technologies employed in the aerobic treatment of wastewater, against those used by the chemical/pharmaceutical industries for gas liquid mass transfer. The paper does not profess to provide a detailed analysis of the pros and cons of the technologies, but more suggest areas where transfer from one industry to another may be of value.
