ABSTRACT
An investigation of various formulations for PC was undertaken by Bourleson et al. [3.51) in order to determine possible applications of these composites in building construction. A number of polyesterstyrene-methyl methacrylate systems were mixed with combinations of different types of fillers such as sand, gypsum, gravel, clay and chopped glass fibres, then cast and polymerized (no Portland cement was used). The resulting products were then tested. Table 3.15 presents some formulations used in this study.
