ABSTRACT
Regulation 15. A local authority may carry out tests on any drain or private sewer to ascertain whether it complies with any of the requirements of Part H Drainage and Waste Disposal of Schedule 1.
1984 Act section 35 says that anyone who contravenes any building regulation to which this section applies may upon summary conviction be fined and maybe subjected to a further fine on a daily basis if the default continues after conviction.
