Mixing adhesive

If texturing compound is being used for the adhesive, mix with hot water, adding the powder to the water. Enough mix can be made to do all the cove as the mix will not 'go off' for many hours. If using cove adhesive, mix with cold water adding the powder to the water. Mix enough to fix each piece of cove only, as the adhesive will remain usable for only 15 to 30 minutes.
