Additional support where walls or ceilings are uneven, or adhesion is poor

In some cases walls and ceilings are uneven and may require additional support, expecially if fixing with cove adhesive instead of texturing compound. This can be done by fixing 'clouts' directly into the cove or by using temporary support on the wall. When fixing clouts into the cove take care not to damage the face of the cove. CHECK THE WALL FOR ELECTRIC CABLES BEFORE NAILING TO THE WALL.
