Debate and Decision 1960–1965

The beginning of a decade is a time to look forward and a time to look back. It is, of course, no more than a convenient peg on which to hang hopes for the future and reflections and lessons from the past. It was a happy coincidence that 1960 was both an Olympic Year1 and a year that signposted a new way ahead for British sport.
